Potty time

Just wanted to share my bathroom story with the world...

Yesterday I had to go "potty". And because I cannot walk into a bathroom without the entire gang immediately sensing my absence, and launching a search party, I locked the door. As they proceeded to bang on the door, I shouted,

"I am going potty, and I would like some peace and quiet!!"

To which Nash responded:
"Mommy, I am peace and quiet."

Yes, Nash is peace and quiet personified. Who knew?

Love this boy...

I love it! I am glad to know that I'm not the only one that happens to. I remember when Mason was little, he used to slide toys and papers under the bathroom door while he waited for me to come out. That's why, when I want a moment of peace and quiet, I just hide. Saesha and I both do it. Our kids start calling for us, and we just can't take it, so we hide behind doors, in the laundry room, in closets, whatever it takes for a minute of quiet.

Its shower time for me! The kids finally won't bug me when I have the shower on so I turn it one and sit there and enjoy some quiet! LOVE the last post! What fun times at your place! Fun at the beach!! I was there a couple weeks after you (well you were at VB right? I was at OBX). And YOUR running!!! To bad we can't suffer through that one together...no matter what I do I still don't like it! Happy bday Trace! He looks so old sitting in a class room...I can't believe he's 7. When ever i think of him I always think of kenney...which is a good thing, I see where she would be and remember when they were sitting on the floor of the gym at 6 months old while we played bball with the cubs!!! Miss you!

Very, very sweet. Try explaining when it's that time of the month.
