Then, when she was around 18 months old, things started to change. Now, she's not screaming all the time, it's more like whining all the time. She can also be very dramatic on occasionally. Take tonight for example...
I was trying to get her to eat her dinner by hand feeding it to her. This is typically the easiest, most effective way to get her to eat supper (I really wanted to use the word "supper" because it's a tragedy that Utahans don't say it). She was ignoring me, so I finally offered the only thing that will get her to eat--chocolate (she's no dummy). So, I am trying to feed her like an 8 month- old, but she won't stop telling me what to do. Alas, I said her name, "SYDNEY!", rather loudly to grab her attention. She gave me her best 2 year-old disgusted look and proceeded to leave the table. As she DRAMATICALLY began the 42 steps to her room, she made sure to turn back every 10 steps to give me the royal stink eye. Once she was out of sight, I started laughing.
About 3 minutes later, a sniffling Sydney reappeared, tenderly hugging this picture...
All I can say is Thesbians, LOOK OUT!

Seriously - you are killing me - the royal stink eye - ha ha ha - I am so stealing that phrase. And the funniest part about the whole thing - right after you said supper I paused to think "what an interesting word"...and then the addendum to your statement - too true!
I laughing so hard right now. I love that girl. Yeah i think you better just stick to her as being your only girl. Hopefully she wont pass any of that down to cher. Oh wait i think cher has got a little in her too.
Let's hope that Cady doesn't pick up the royal stink eye next week ... that girl's already got too much sass in her!
I loved the video. The best part is how hard Trace is laughing to equal is sister's crying. She is quite talented at the hula hoop though. Thats got to count for something.
oh my goodness reading this blog is the BEST friday night activity EVER!!! I love Syd.. she is SO hilarious... I will forever remember the stink eye given to stefano and I followed by the cuuutest of look (when she realized we were offering her candy):) Love Syd.... I will give you a call..
